Popsicles and Progress at Thoreau’s Backyard!

We’ve got a sweet update to share!

Earlier this month, our awesome Thoreau students took on a fundraising challenge—and our kindergarteners totally stole the show! As a reward, our littlest champions celebrated with a frozen treat party, with the Student Playground Committee personally handing out popsicles to the kindergarteners. Their smiles say it all!

We’re so proud of the energy and teamwork our students are showing as we work together to bring Thoreau’s Backyard to life.

Also—keep an eye on your mailbox next week! We’ll be sending out a fundraising appeal letter with more details on the project, and options for giving.

Each of you, and each of your children, is what makes our community so special. And like so many things, the only way we’re going to get this playground built, is to do it together.
