Make Your Mark on Thoreau’s Backyard: Buy A Picket!

Dear Friends,

Thoreau’s Backyard is a true community endeavor, and we’re incredibly proud of what that represents. This project is being designed, funded, and constructed collaboratively by our community. This wouldn’t be possible without the support of parents, grandparents, dedicated Concord residents, organizations, and local businesses.

To honor those who make this project a reality, we are excited to offer the opportunity for you to have your name (or another name meaningful to you) become a permanent feature of the playground.

The playground design includes a low fence on its northern edge, acting as a boundary between the parking lot and the play area. Each "picket" of this fence can be personalized by donors with a total contribution of $500 or more. You could choose to include your family’s name, your children’s names, a phrase or sentiment, your business—anything you like!
